Your tip for other Founders and Future-Entrepreneurs who are considering launching their own Talkshow

Behind the Mic | Building Founder Brand by launching you own show: Rachel Cossar

Arjun Sundararajan: So one last question to round out this episode is If there are other people, especially, like, early stage, entrepreneurs are future entrepreneurs. Like, people who are yet to start this company and they are considering launching their own show. What would be one tip that you would give them or one question you would ask them?
Rachel Cossar: So the tip I would I would give them is I would like highly recommend using a a platform like sync. And this is like a completely unsolicited just plug because a big thing that held me back initially was just the thought of having to schedule everything myself, use zoom, you know, do the editing, figure it out, and, like, the summaries and everything. And I was like, I just found that so daunting that it would be such a time suck for, like, a founder who just has, like, you don't have time. You don't have time. So I I would just, like, really recommend looking into a platform like Zinc because it's very approachable and it's very reasonably priced as well. Like, I know that there are other services out there that get really expensive, really quickly and to the point where, like, as a startup founder, you're, like, from definitely not doing that. So I I would say, like, don't shy away from getting the support so that you can be efficient with your time while also getting this great quality product. Would be a tip that I, like, I would tell myself that.
Arjun Sundararajan: You know, I'd be like, go just go for it.
Rachel Cossar: And then So it was a tip. And what was the other part of the question? Question.
Arjun Sundararajan: Any anything that you would ask them as to, like, before they come and tell you that, like, I wanna launch a show, like, what not doing all the jobs now. Yeah.
Rachel Cossar: So on that note, and this is something that I also spent time with myself on before launching this show was like, what are we talking thinking about. Like, the the last thing the world needs is just another podcast where people just like to listen to themselves talk. You know, we see it happen all the time. You're not gonna get your that will be a waste of time. Unless, you know, unless you just, you know, love to listen to yourself talk and that's what you wanna do, like, go for it. But just know that, like, it's better if you can be super strategic and targeted about, like, what you're bringing to your audience, who your audience is, and and why you think this matters to them.
Arjun Sundararajan: I love it. Yep. Nobody wants to build a show for an audience of 1, just yourself. But, yeah, definitely, it makes a lot of sense to reflect upon what your show should be about, who your audience is, and what new value that you're bringing to them. This has been awesome. A great discussion with you,
